Rozetta Double B&O is a unique contemporary modern paper relief by renowned Polish-Dutch artist Eliza Kopec. This relief is a typical example of her preferred minimalist abstract geometric vocabulary, formal and strict, but at the same time colourful and of a visual beauty that is very pleasing to the eye. Carefully cut round paper elements (blue, orange and gold metallic colours on one side, a matt white colour on the other side) are mounted into a plain white background, allowing shadows and colour reflections to fill the spaces in between.
Looking at this work of art from upfront mainly shows the basic composition of the paper elements. But when moving to the opposing sides of this work, the full effect of the used colours comes into play. This principle also places this type of work in the long tradition of optical art and kinetic art.
